DOLE gives 26 more names of nursing exam re-take passers

Cagayan de Oro City – The government will push through with the $ 460-million Cyber Education project and is even planning to tap the academe to ensure the project would suit the needs of the students.
Thus stressed Pres.Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo who said that investments and infrastructure projects should not be hindered by controversies during her opening statement at a recent Cabinet meeting of the National Security Council (NSC) and the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA).

She has also ordered the China Projects Oversight Panel under Secretary Peter Favila of the Dept. of Trade and Industry (DTI) to ensure that the very important project of Cyber Education will push through for the benefit of the millions of students.

The Cyber Education project aims to bridge the learning gap between urban and rural schools by using satellite technology to beam televised lectures to students and teachers in far-flung areas.
“The satellite-based distance learning program is capable of broadcasting lectures by the best teachers from the Dept. of Education (DepEd) model Schools to other public schools nationwide and targets a total of 37,794 public schools in the next three years with an annual coverage of 13.6 million students.
Meanwhile, some 26 names have been added to the list of nurses who passed the voluntary retake of the June 2006 Test III and V Nursing Licensure Examination initiated by the Dept. of Labor and Employment.

This third batch of names released by DOLE as of Oct. 5, 2007, has brought to 108 the successful re-takers of the said exam, Regional Director Alan M. Macaraya of DOLE-10 said.

“Like the previous batches, the list will be posted in the DOLE regional and provincial offices for reference of the individual passers,” he said.

The following successful nurses can now claim their DOLE Certificates at the Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) at Cidel Center, Gen. Antonio Luna St., this city:
